Auntie Pat (uncle Hughie) You couldn’t think of one without the other. The perfect pairing. To hear either of their names evokes such welcoming joyous memories. Pat was welcoming, motherly and caring. They were the best of the old fashioned ways. Our infrequent visits were events to be looked forward to. Sorry Cathy that I let life get in the way; and never repayed their kindness and love. Auntie Pat was loved. (What more can anyone ask for) The world’s a darker place without Pat and Hughie.
