I got to know Pat in my capacity as a Newquay library volunteer.

I would deliver and collect books. Pat was a voracious reader. 📚

We would put the world to rights and laugh along the way.

Transpires we were both very familiar with the same patch in Birmingham !

I will miss my visits to Pat. She had a fierce energy and a commitment to compassion and creating a kinder world.

It was a privilege to call her friend  xxx
